James 1:27 tells us, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Most of us men feel convicted by this verse, knowing it is true, but also knowing we aren't living it. What would it take for me and the men of my church to live this out, in a practical, doable, God-honoring way?

Herb Reese helps churches recruit, train, organize and deploy teams of men that permanently adopt the widowed, single parents and others with long term needs in their church and community. In the process, these teams experience exciting new levels of friendship and spiritual growth!

(Doors open at 5:30 pm for Pre-dinner Mixer/Fellowship)
